funeral blues

Death is not an easy subject for anyone to discuss or cope with. Each person develops their own personality and character as they go through life, this is what makes the person so special and unique.

To be given the task of delivering a eulogy is really an honor hence the responsibility of providing a clear and positive picture of the person you will be talking about is in order. Personal experiences are expected to be re told and reminisced, and to be shared with other people who will be listening. You may feel that you are too sad or that you don't have the skills to write and deliver an appropriately moving tribute at a funeral or memorial service.

Once you've gathered your information, decide how you will organize it. Poems can range in topics and styles, flowery or overly dramatic poetry is not the only option available. A marvelous life that is now celebrated forever.

As hard as it may seem right now, it gets better. If you are gifted with the blessing and talent of writing poetry for the dead, share it.
