death at a funeral

When being presented with the task of speaking a eulogy, the thought immediately is followed with an irrational fear of not been seen giving them a fit and proper speech. During funerals, many people are careful about the words they say or actions they do in front of the grieving family members.

People who attend funerals must be aware of the proper etiquettes to be observed during this time. This page is a sanctuary for different collection of funeral poems created by people as they were inspired by grief. You may feel that you are too sad or that you don't have the skills to write and deliver an appropriately moving tribute at a funeral or memorial service.

It's always a good idea to take care of such details as reserving a burial plot and even a monument prior to death. Even if they do not have anything in mind, it helps a lot on the part of a grieving person to know that he is surrounded by friends that care for his welfare. If you attended school with the deceased, you might want to focus on your school days.

Above all, remember to breathe. If you are gifted with the blessing and talent of writing poetry for the dead, share it.
