Preparing a eulogy for a loved one could be a daunting task. In truth, not many of us ever find ourselves faced with writing a eulogy.
It requires that you sit down and think about the person who has passed on, and decide on the traits and stories that you want to share about their life. Memorial service poems can actually put everyone more at ease during a funeral or memorial service. Any displays of affection, words that described the brighter side of their personalities will make someone feel special, will all count in the eulogy.
Remember even if it is a sea of strangers in front of you, not one person will judge you for it. It is, in fact, acceptable to include humorous moments in a eulogy. You will honor their life and their memory.
Now, all you have to do is to find a practical way, using poems for the deceased, to remember that as you go through your daily life. Death is hard to accept but can be made easier by the love extended by people who truly care.
